On June 13, 2026, Uthoppia House joined nearly 400 leaders, entrepreneurs, researchers, educators, and innovators at the SheRewires REWIRING HORIZONS: Human Agency Leadership Summit in Shanghai. Held on China's Cultural and Natural Heritage Day, the summit brought together voices from technology, business, education, culture, and social innovation to explore a timely question: as artificial intelligence becomes increasingly capable, what remains uniquely human?

As an Innovation Ecosystem Partner of the summit, Uthoppia House contributed to this conversation through a keynote by our founder, Yusup Ngadimin, titled "Why Human Role Models Still Matter in the AI Era."

While much of today's AI discussion focuses on automation and replacement, the keynote explored a different perspective. AI can provide information, recommendations, and unprecedented access to knowledge, but information alone does not create clarity. The most important life and career decisions still require human judgment, self-awareness, and the ability to navigate uncertainty.

A central theme of the session was the enduring value of role models. Real people provide something technology cannot: lived experiences. By learning from the journeys, decisions, challenges, and pivots of others, individuals gain a deeper understanding of what different paths actually look like. In a world overflowing with information, these human stories help transform possibility into direction. This belief lies at the heart of Uthoppia House and the work we are doing through Career Mimicry™ AI, Mimicue.ai.

Beyond the keynote, we had the opportunity to engage directly with the summit community through a Mimicue.ai Discovery Workshop Session attended by around 50 participants. The session allowed attendees to experience firsthand how career exploration can become more personal, practical, and grounded in real-world role models rather than generic career advice.

Throughout the event, our booth also became a gathering point for curious attendees eager to try the gamified version of Mimicue.ai. It was encouraging to see participants lining up to explore the experience, share their results, and discuss the insights they discovered. The enthusiasm reinforced something we strongly believe: people are not simply looking for more information about careers—they are looking for clarity, relevance, and relatable examples that help them envision their future.

This message resonated strongly with the broader theme of the summit: human agency. Across discussions ranging from technology and innovation to cultural heritage and long-term human development, a common thread emerged: while technology can accelerate creation and expand capabilities, meaning, judgment, and responsibility remain fundamentally human.
